I’ve been sick since Christmas day.
I had a cold and I was trying to be really cool and not a whiny-ass about it. I felt okay in the mornings but like a blob of goo by noon every day.
We had a lot of Mondays and Fridays off work for holidays but I kept taking advil and cough meds and going in on the days I had to until I felt lousy and ended up driving home in a fever haze each day.

I’m home now. I’m going to have to eat oatmeal every morning for three months to make up for the debauchery of this wedding vacation with the fancy breakfast buffet complete with omelet chef and bottomless chafing dishes of bacon.

Did you see this whole interview with Neil? He said that when he stays in his house in Scotland and visits the Nicholson family, they serve him enough scotch that he apparently drunk dials people in a Scottish accent. I think this is an awesome phenomenon.
