Warrior Dash Louisiana 2012
- Joey was 51st out of 227 for his age group of 14-19 year old men and overall 330th out of 3,585 guys
- I was 34th for my age group (40-49) out of 600 women and 229th out of 3,490 women overall.
- I didn’t just survive! I did better than I ever imagined. We had a blast, got muddy, bruised, burned and twisted but I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
- They gave us those horned fuzzy helmets.
- I lost my number bib on the first obstacle swimming in the river and trying to climb on the barge - They make you wear a computer chip on your shoe.
- I drank my free beer that I got when I turned in my microchip at 9:30 am.
- I also ate a turkey leg like a viking.
- It’s good to know I can do more than run away when the zombies come. I can still climb stuff.
- This would be easier if I could lose that last 20 lbs but I just don’t know if I wanna give up the frozen yogurt and balls.
