Reblog this if you voted because YOU ARE AWESOME!

And because I know I’m not the only voter disappointed that their polling place didn’t give out stickers.

I made this one because I’m trying to imagine the Doctor whining about such things.

David Tennant on “Q.I.” on Dec. 24, 2009. (x)

“you bet I do, yeah! and then say absolutely nothing about it.”

accurate. <3<3<3<3 xoxoxoxo

And speaking of pet peeves…..

The incorrect usage of the words less and fewer in advertisements drives me batty. Mr. Tennant has it correct here (if my very favorite grammar teacher wasn’t as crazy as he acted). I was taught that a very simple way of knowing which word to use was this:

If the amount in question is something you can count, then you use the word fewer.

If the amount is something intangible then you use the word less.

So when TBS says they have less commercials, I want to scream at the TV.  They should say they have fewer commercials or less advertising which would be proper even though they are probably still lying.

So why do the signs at  American grocery store express checkouts still say 10 items or less? And why doesn’t it bother me when people break this rule in general conversation?

Lets be truthful here….I just wanted an excuse to reblog David Tennant.
