notso-darling:

I bought this with my books for this semester because the lady who did the cover art is pretty fantastic.  Review expected in three years after I finish my phd. Until then, it will be pretty to look at.  :)

Gah! You are awesome and I hope when you finally get around to reading it you find it entertaining. The cover art came out dark but then the story is a bit dark so, yeah. Thank you for buying it and supporting awesome writers. Especially ones I love as much as K.V. Taylor. And for calling it pretty to look at. :)

I like mojitos a lot too. A lot a lot.

As far as I can figure, there is absolutely nothing about them that is unlikeable!

Ahahah I love you guys. You’re so weird and awesome and blimp-eating. My only vacation this year was a wedcation too.

I love when YOU call ME weird! It’s like an honor or something! I hope you get more vacationing in the coming months. Also…Thank you for the signed book! I love carrying it around the house and re-reading excerpts…out loud.

Welcome HOME!

jennhoney replied to your post: I ate more than 28 strips of bacon in 6 days

I missed you too. I’m still missing you, but I feel like all I can do since I got home is work, eat and sleep. Catching up on Tumblr seems such a daunting task. I don’t think I can ever. Also, I don’t think I’m sick…I don’t feel sick…I just feel like sleeping is so necessary at all times.

so great! UGH and good cloudage! I could really go for a Blimp right now

That reminds me. I took some photos of more night cloudage just for you from our balcony! See I was thinking of you! Here you go: (this is still not your gift)

d’awww… look at his toes! I love his little toes! His toe-lings! GAH! He wants to cuddle, despite not having arms. His EARS want to cuddle. Awwwww.

I kept thinking that his ears could do lots of things since I forgot to give him arms and hands. Hugging would be one of those things.

Well, He IS an amazing gif(t) !

Thanks but still not it. I may have it ready for the end of Festivus but I keep melting things. You’ll understand in time, grasshopper.

I remember playing with him. Once we played house and Shannon was the mom and Animal was the dad. No lie.

I would never doubt that, you guys were hilarious. As I said, he was family and he could say things to people I would have never gotten away with.

YOU are gorgeous! But thanks. He’s a fun subject?

You are effing awesome, you know.

It’s genetic. LOL!!  Instead of our gene pool getting diluted…it just gets stronger because the progeny keep mixing with more awesome. Congrats to you with all the book launches and surviving last week. You are effing awesome.

This is so good! How long did it take?!

Thank you. I’m gonna say it took about 4 hours because I sketched him in pencil and scanned it and emailed to myself to play with it on the iPad and then I lost myself for I don’t know how long. But to finish it, it took 3 episodes of Merlin.

I measure time by TV episodes. I think I may have a problem.

Claire….you are as perfect a human being as I ever want to know. And that gif is perfect!

This made me laugh so hard. Thank you for that and for being so cool.

This is hilarious. He was looking up at himself and commenting. I could see this happening in real life. I wish he would come over and sit for my next life drawing of him.

You really are so gifted. This is eerily life-like.

Thanks. I was actually surprised when I stood back and looked. The brush strokes were so broad and rough up close (because I hit 400% zoom a lot of times).

Holy frick!!! You did that on your iPad???? Wow! This is amazing!!

Thanks. It’s gotten easier to do using some really great drawing apps for iPhone and iPad. Sketchbook Pro is a paid app (but Sketchbook Mobile I think is still free to try it out). The other is called Brushes. I haven’t gotten used to it yet but I love it so far. Also, I use the Wacom Bamboo Stylus which is better than any other that I’ve tried so far.
